An electrical service upgrade increases the amount of power your home can safely draw from the utility. If you’re adding an EV charger, heat pump, suite or renovation circuits, upgrading from 60A or 100A service can prevent nuisance tripping and future limitations.
What’s Included
We complete service upgrades across Coquitlam and the Lower Mainland. That can include a new breaker panel, meter base, service entrance components (as required), grounding/bonding updates, and a careful re‑termination of your existing circuits. We also coordinate the utility disconnect/reconnect and handle permits and inspections.

Utility Coordination
Most upgrades require a scheduled utility disconnect and a meter change window. We plan this with you in advance, keep downtime as short as practical, and communicate the steps clearly so you know what to expect the day of the upgrade.

Will I lose power during the upgrade?
Yes—there will be a planned outage while the service components are replaced and the utility reconnects. We schedule the work for a time that works for your household and aim to keep the outage window as short as possible.
