That typically includes assessing your existing service, coordinating with the utility as required, installing a new panel and meter base, tidying existing circuits and arranging Technical Safety BC inspections. Permits & Inspections
Service and panel upgrades in BC require a Technical Safety BC permit and inspection. We submit permit applications, book inspection times and complete any corrections requested so the upgrade is fully approved. You don’t need to coordinate with multiple parties—we handle it for you.

Most residential upgrades are completed within a day, with power shut‑off limited to a planned window. Scheduling with the utility and inspections can add lead time, but we outline timelines clearly before work starts.
Do I need a permit for a panel upgrade?
Yes. Panel and service upgrades always require a permit and inspection in BC. Our quotes include permit fees and we take care of submitting and closing out the permit with Technical Safety BC.
